Indoor Cycling Training

Do you prefer the indoors? Look no further than our Institute’s indoor cycling sessions. Our training is open to all and designed to increase the amount of time you spend at 90-100% of your Vo2max. Read on to find out more about this session.

Our single pass or packs give you access to our 60 minute sessions. Classes are run on most weekdays from 5:30am - 8:30am and 3:30am - 6:30pm. Simply select your preferred time then book in your spot online.

We offer classes on your own bike or by using our Watt bike’s.

FAQ’s

Who can attend our indoor sessions?

Anyone can attend our indoor sessions. If it is your first time, we may need to complete a baseline assessment of your cycling fitness (MAP test) to ascertain appropriate training levels.

What do our indoor sessions look like?

Our indoor sessions are designed to increase the amount of time you spend at 90-100% of your Vo2max. Hence our interval sessions are based around your own fitness metrics and are tailored to each individual.

What if I am not very fit?

This is absolutely fine. Once we have taken a measurement of your own fitness level, we only train you to a percentage of this level, the sessions are tailored to your own fitness only.

What can I expect from the session?

You will have an industry professional present to set up and tailor the training to your own needs. The session will be challenging, but is only tailored to your own fitness capabilities.

What equipment do I need?

You can do the session on your own bike, or by using one of ours (Wattbikes). Please bring your cycling clothes/shoes, face-towel, water bottle and preferably a heart rate monitor or chest strap.
