Breathe in the fresh air with the Exercise Institute. Our outdoor cycling sessions are a blend of interval training and group riding to increase fitness, skills development, and improve confidence. Read on to find out more about this session.
Our sessions run on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Thursdays session is focused on high intensity interval training and racing tactic where our Wednesday is a Womens only ride focusing on improving fitness and confidence for intermediate ability levels.

FAQ’s
Anyone can attend our outdoor sessions. If it is your first time, we would love for you to contact us via email. We have group sessions for different fitness levels to suit.
Our outdoor sessions involve a blend of interval training to increase fitness, skills development to improve confidence, and group riding to explore riding as a collective safely.
This is absolutely fine. We would really like to hear from you first. It may be a case where we instead focus on some one on one work to build confidence then introduce you to our group sessions.
At each session is a qualified trainer to outline and instruct the group on the specific goals of each session. These sessions are aimed at improving your cycling skills and fitness in a friendly environment.
You will obviously need a bike, most people use road bikes for these sessions, and a helmet is a must. Bike lights are preferred and please ensure you have registered so we know you are coming. We often meet for coffee afterwards, so please try and attend to make friends.
All individuals who are registered to attend the session will be emailed if the session is cancelled owing to poor weather, preferably at least 12hrs before the session starts (the previous evening). You will have your session credited back to your account.
