Exercise Institute’s indoor cycling sessions are open to all riders and designed to improve the amount of time you can spend working at 90–100% of your VO2max.

Train on your own bike or use one of our Wattbikes, with sessions guided by industry professionals and tailored to your individual training levels.

Ride once, buy a pass, or train unlimited.

Our single pass and session packs give you access to 60-minute indoor cycling sessions.

Classes run on most weekdays from 5:30am–8:30am and 3:30pm–6:30pm. Simply select your preferred time and book your spot online.

Who can attend?

Open to all riders.

Anyone can attend our indoor sessions.

If it is your first time, we may need to complete a baseline assessment of your cycling fitness, such as a MAP test, to establish appropriate training levels.

Session Format

What do sessions look like?

Indoor sessions are designed to increase the amount of time you spend at 90–100% of your VO2max.

Intervals are based around your own fitness metrics and tailored to each individual, rather than being set as generic targets for the whole room.

Fitness Level

What if I am not very fit?

That is absolutely fine.

Once we have taken a measurement of your own fitness level, we only train you to a percentage of that level. The session is tailored to your current capability.

Coaching Support

What can I expect?

You will have an industry professional present to guide the session.

The session will be challenging, but it is tailored to your own fitness capabilities and adjusted around your training level.

Equipment

What do I need?

You can ride on your own bike or use one of our Wattbikes.

Please bring cycling clothes and shoes, a face towel, a water bottle and preferably a heart rate monitor or chest strap.
